Shipping and Customs

All orders to countries within the EU are free of shipping charge. Orders to other countries are subject to additional shipping charges. Any customs or VAT charges should be paid be the buyer.

Ordering

We make reservations regarding products out of stock or availability issues.

Payment Options

We offer secure payments via Klarna.

Delivery

Your order is usually sent as a post package with PostNord and is shipped as soon as possible, usually within 2-5 working days. Please note that larger orders, resulting in larger packages might instead be shipped with DHL.

We make reservations regarding delivery during high season. Upon receiving your order, we kindly ask you to check it to make sure that it is correct. Withdrawal

You are entitled to a 14-day withdrawal period. Contact our customer support by sending an e-mail detailing why you want to withdraw your order. The withdrawal period is counted from the day you receive your order.

Please note that the product should be sent back in unused condition. If the product is damaged during transport and this is due to your negligence the withdrawal right is lost.

Warranty and Service

Since regular use of the product naturally causes ware the warranty only covers manufacturing faults, for which the seller is responsible.

The personal information you provide at registration/purchase is stored with us for us so we can offer the best possible service regarding payment and delivery. In connection with your registration and ordering you agree that we store and use your information. It also means that we may contact you via newsletters. Under the Privacy Act you have the right to obtain the information we have stored about you. Returns

Returns are paid by the customer unless the product is defective or if the order is incorrect. Returns are sent as post packages and not on Cash on Delivery (COD/Collect).

After you have exercised the right of withdrawal the order should be sent back to us as soon as possible.

Repayment Obligation

We will, if you use your withdrawal right, pay back what you paid for the item immediately or within 30 days from the date we received the goods. You will have to pay the return costs when sending goods back. We always pay back the cost of returning the so-called substitute goods.

Items are always returned in their original packaging.

Keep in mind that the customer is responsible for goods in transit to us.

Complaints

Force Majeure

Nordic Pocket Saw is not responsible for shipping issues that stem from events beyond our control such as various types of disasters, decisions from authorities or other events that could not reasonably have foreseen. In such cases we refer to Force Majeure which means that we are freed from the obligation to fulfill contractual agreements.

WARNING: FAILURE TO CAREFULLY FOLLOW ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS REGARDING THIS PRODUCT MAY RESULT IN BODILY INJURY, DEATH AND/OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.

The Nordic Pocket Saw is not a toy and should only be used by someone familiar with, and capable of following, these warnings.

For the Nordic Pocket Saw assortment related to saws or saw functions:

The product is extremely sharp and is intended for sawing of trees and parts of trees, such as branches, limbs, and logs. Handle with care. Do not handle the blade. Examine the product before each use to ensure that the handles and links or blades are secure, links are not twisted, and that the saw has not been damaged in shipment or by prior use.

Items to be cut must be firmly rooted or otherwise stabilized (not by hands or feet). Contact with hard objects can damage the saw/tool. Do not use the saw/tool on any non-wood object (unless specified that a blade can be used for other materials). Do not use the saw to cut any other material or for any unintended purpose or try to modify or disassemble the saw/tool. Not only will this void the limited warranty, but it is also dangerous.

Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, feet and other body parts away from the saw/tool. You should wear proper eye (safety goggles) and hand protection when using this product. Do not place any other objects or body parts in the path of the saw/tool. Be mindful of possible harm that could be caused by trees, limbs, etc. that you cut—they may fall on you, someone else or on property and cause damage, injury or death. Do not stand in the “fall path” of any tree or branch, which is being cut.

Keep out of reach of children. No one under the age of 18, or who have physical or other limitations, should use the Nordic Pocket Saw. Do not use this product when you are tired, distracted or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication causing diminished capacity.

For products in the Nordic Pocket Saw assortment that is related to multi-tools or similar and accessories, all the information and instructions in the text above, that is related to use of the saw function of the product will apply. Also, the following will apply for the other functions of use of the product:

NORDIC POCKET SAW 5-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

Since regular use of the product naturally causes wear, the warranty only covers manufacturing faults, for which the seller is responsible.

This limited warranty only covers defects in materials and workmanship of the product and only for consumer, non-commercial use by the original retail purchaser. This limited warranty is not transferable and will not cover problems or damage caused by misuse, accidents or abuse. The purchaser must return the defective product to the original retail store within 5 years of purchase, along with proof of purchase, for a determination of the warranty claim. If the claim is deemed valid, the manufacturer will repair or replace the product (at its option).
